We've been hearing good reports from Saintclair's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Roxen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Saintclair doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Saintclair manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's time! Saintclair's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Saintclair will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Roxen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Saintclair has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Roxen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Andrei Saintclair overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
