Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Slyck Kira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kira comes to the cage accompanied by Prehistoric Dog by Red Fang. Lynn has chosen Pain as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Slyck Kira has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Slyck Kira seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carl Lynn!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lynn gets a double leg takedown into Kira's guard.
Lynn has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at LOD-Guts & Glory Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Kira working for a triangle but Lynn defends it easily.
Kira will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lynn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kira works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lynn wants to control from the top but Kira keeps moving.
Lynn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lynn chips away with some ground and pound.

Kira has his foot on Lynn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lynn works his way back into a safe position though.

Kira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lynn defends well.

Lynn throws a big elbow that misses.
Kira really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lynn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lynn wants to control from the top but Kira keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lynn with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Lynn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kira defends it well.

Lynn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kira's head.

Lynn winds up and cracks Kira with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lynn lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kira quite badly. Kira pulls Lynn in close trying to recover. Lynn postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kira on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kira doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carl Lynn!
During a confident post fight interview, Carl Lynn thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Slyck Kira was interviewed post fight and said 'Oy, what a poof I was! Sorry, mates! Next time! '.
