The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papadopoulos darts in looking for a takedown but Li gets double underhooks and turns Papadopoulos into the cage.
Papadopoulos has Li pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Papadopoulos pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Li tumbling to the mat - Papadopoulos dives into Li's guard.
Li is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Papadopoulos landing some decent shots from guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Papadopoulos's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Papadopoulos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Li has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Papadopoulos has managed to get both his arms back between Li's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Papadopoulos throws an elbow that misses. Li uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Papadopoulos's guard. Nice move by Li!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Papadopoulos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Li manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Papadopoulos lands a big shot there that rocks Li but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Li on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Li tries to get out of the position.
