The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Dobson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dobson.

It looks like Stig Helmer has been cut.

Dobson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Helmer is in close to Dobson's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Dobson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Helmer is out of range.
Helmer seems to have recovered his senses.

Dobson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Helmer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dobson has his foot on Helmer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Helmer works his way back into a safe position though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Helmer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Helmer drops back looking for a leg! Dobson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dobson manages to kick Helmer off! Helmer jumps back into Dobson's guard.

Helmer shoots for a double leg takedown but Dobson sprawls well. He's pushed Helmer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Dobson throws a lazy right hand but Helmer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Helmer gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Dobson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
