Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scottie Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damme swats away the attempt to clinch by Chase.

The referee is keeping an eye on Damme - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Damme should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A head kick from Chase lands but Damme takes it in his stride.
Chase dives in for a single leg takedown but Damme sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Chase tries to pull guard but Damme holds him up against the cage and eventually Chase drops back down to his feet.

Damme throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Damme drops his hands momentarily and Chase takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Damme has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chase is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Damme.
