The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ortiz finds it's way round the side to connect with Walker's head.

Walker is working Ortiz over against the ropes.

Walker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ortiz walks away with a smile on his face. Walker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ortiz tries to clinch but Walker is having none of it.
Ortiz cracks Walker with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Victor Ortiz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Walker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Walker shoots in for a takedown but Ortiz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Walker tries to clinch but Ortiz is having none of it.

Walker moves into range and clinches up with Ortiz.
Oh Ortiz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Walker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ortiz's guard.
Walker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Walker is working Ortiz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Walker distracts Ortiz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Walker postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ortiz covers up, he's hurt! Walker keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Walker and the ref steps in to end the fight! Walker can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

A very excited looking Brandon Walker made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Victor Ortiz was interviewed post fight and said 'Brandon was the better man tonight,the guy is a Killer for sure..I knew this fight would end with one of us getting knocked out, hes the man, but ill be back, ill be back real soon'.
