The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Dan Druff has been cut.
Druff takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Nelson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Good standup being displayed there by Nelson as he connects with a hook.
Nelson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Druff.
Druff avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nelson misses with a series of wild punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Druff is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Druff displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nelson throws out the jab.
Druff walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Nelson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nelson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nelson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Nelson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Druff looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Druff takes a jab right on the kisser.
Willie Nelson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Druff has a takedown stuffed.

Nelson jabs Druff to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Druff ducks right into an uppercut from Nelson.
Druff moves forwards but Nelson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Druff shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Druff showed some decent athleticism there.

Druff wants to stand but Nelson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Druff must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Druff taking a breather but there's no such thing in a fight! Nelson has locked on to a kimura from the bottom - he uses it to sweep and is now looking to finish from the top position! He's got it!
