Abukay shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Shlemenko is trying to defend but Abukay finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Shlemenko has Abukay pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Abukay is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Shlemenko - that's hurt Abukay badly! Oh, another knee lands and Abukay is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Abukay doesn't seem to be complaining.
