PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bo Dayshus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dayshus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kansas-carry on wayward son. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Williams misses its intended target.
Dayshus connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Williams momentarily.
Dayshus takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Williams moves into the clinch.

Williams ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Williams no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Williams looking to control but Dayshus passes into half guard.
Dayshus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williams keeps working.
Dayshus throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Williams wants to control the action here but instead Dayshus manages to pass to full mount!
Dayshus raining down shots from the mount!
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dayshus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dayshus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Williams is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dayshus is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Williams is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Williams flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Dayshus anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Williams and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Dayshus slips an arm under Williams chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Dayshus has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Dayshus is squeezing on Williams like an anaconda would it's prey. Williams fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
