The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnerwetter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Donnerwetter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Donnerwetter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Donnerwetter wants it to stay on the feet.
Wilcox really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Wilcox fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Wilcox or perhaps it was just good defense by Donnerwetter which made him look bad.

Donnerwetter lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Elvis Wilcox has been cut.
Wilcox closes the distance and clinches up with Donnerwetter, looking for a takedown. Wilcox pushes Donnerwetter against the cage but Donnerwetter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wilcox avoids a kick to the body.
Wilcox shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wilcox avoids the head kick by Donnerwetter.

Wilcox tries to clinch but Donnerwetter is having none of it.
