Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Lino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brad Lino will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Lino!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lino goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Lino gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hansen throwing strikes from guard but Lino blocks nicely.
Lino throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Hansen wants to control from the top but Lino keeps moving.
Lino is trying to keep Hansen in close.

Lino had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hansen defends it easily.
Lino has his hands on Hansen's head, controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lino wants to stand but Hansen is controlling the position.
Hansen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Lino wants to get back to his feet but Hansen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lino keeping moving, preventing Hansen from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Bob Hansen just wasn't active enough.
Lino fails with a takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hansen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lino!
Lino tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hansen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hansen trying to control the action but Lino is working from the bottom.
Hansen controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hansen has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lino!
Hansen really is a fat lump.
Hansen unloading with bombs!
Hansen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hansen prevents Lino from getting the reversal.
Hansen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Lino?
Hansen controlling his opponent.
Hansen trying to control but Lino is having none of it.
Lino is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hansen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hansen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lino is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hansen throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lino because Hansen loaded up on that one.
Lino is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lino is squirming around, avoiding Hansen's attempts to control the action.
Hansen controlling from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lino keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Hansen dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Lino scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hansen throws a shot from downtown. Lino moves away and avoids it.

Hansen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lino is looking to escape.

Hansen seems to be looking for submissions.
Hansen wants to stand but Lino has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Hansen wants to take a breather but Lino is having none of it.
Hansen stops Lino from getting back to his feet.
Lino works his way to full guard. Good work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hansen is looking to stand up but Lino won't let him.
Hansen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hansen wants to control from the top but Lino keeps moving.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Lino isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hansen stacks Lino on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hansen!
Lino tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Lino is breathing heavily.

Hansen is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hansen extends the arm and Lino is forced to tap!
