The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams tries to clinch there but Martigan circles away.

Martigan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adams.
Martigan keeps the fight on the outside.
Adams closes the distance looking to clinch

and Martigan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Adams! Martigan lets Adams back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Grizzly Adams has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Adams moves to clinch but Martigan breaks away
and Martigan rattles Adams with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Adams tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Martigan dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Adams stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Warwick Martigan!
After winning the bout, Warwick Martigan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
