Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Stefans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hunt might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Smells Like Teen Spirit. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ted Stefans!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Stefans catches Hunt right on the button with a cross.
Hunt throws a leg kick
and Stefans counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hunt scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Stefans throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hunt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Stefans attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunt throws a leg kick but Stefans moved away.
Hunt bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hunt postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

I was talking to Hunt's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Hunt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stefans gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Stefans fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hunt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
