Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ted Mcconnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimenez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Push It To The Limit (Scarface) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Carlos Jimenez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ted Mcconnell's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mcconnell circles away from the clinch attempt
and Mcconnell counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jimenez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jimenez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Jimenez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jimenez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcconnell keeps working.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ted Mcconnell.
I think Jimenez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
