Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Druff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anastasio Gamboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gamboa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wu-Tang Clan - Careful (Click, Click). Anastasio Gamboa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Druff tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gamboa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Druff moves in looking to clinch but Gamboa pushes him off.
Druff gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Druff dodges the punch combination from Gamboa.
Gamboa's jab looks to have found its range, popping Druff under the eye.

Gamboa shoots in and bounces Druff off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gamboa throws a strike but Druff rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Druff is looking to stand up but Gamboa won't let him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Druff lands a nice short elbow.

Gamboa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Druff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Druff wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gamboa, who protects the arm well.

Druff lands a couple of good shots and Gamboa has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Gamboa tries to escape but Druff has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

You can see the frustration on Gamboa's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Gamboa is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Druff is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gamboa has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gamboa rolls, trying to escape but Druff keeps control of the position.
The referee is taking a good look at Gamboa as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Druff!
Druff slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Druff drops his hands momentarily and Gamboa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gamboa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Druff circles away quickly and effectively.

Druff is working for takedown but Gamboa is calmly controlling the position for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gamboa drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Druff gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Druff's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dan Druff is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gamboa tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Druff defends well and Gamboa ends up having to push Druff into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Druff throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gamboa was covering up waiting for the punch and Druff finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gamboa is in trouble now - Druff has advanced to mount!
Druff tries to control but Gamboa wriggling away.
Dan Druff overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Druff scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Druff has hold of Gamboa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gamboa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Druff is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gamboa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gamboa shrugs it off.

Druff wants to finish this one by submission but Gamboa is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Druff.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
