Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deangelo Gilmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erwin Rommel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rommel has chosen Eminem-Superman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Deangelo Gilmore has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Deangelo Gilmore seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmore darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Gilmore misses with an uppercut. Rommel saw that one coming.
Rommel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gilmore scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gilmore swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rommel.
Deangelo Gilmore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rommel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gilmore throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gilmore shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rommel napping and manages to drive through into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Rommel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gilmore did well to prevent Rommel getting side control.
