The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludwig tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ross takes the fight into the clinch.
Ludwig tries to pull guard but Ross won't allow it.
Ludwig tries to pull guard but Ross holds him up against the cage and eventually Ludwig drops back down to his feet.
Ludwig has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ross will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ludwig up against the cage.

Ross jumps guard and drags Ludwig to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ross on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ross tries to get out of the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ludwig prevents Ross from getting back to his feet.
Ludwig tries to stand but Ross is controlling from the bottom.
Ross could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ross pulls Ludwig in close to prevent any damage.

Ross has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ludwig doesn't defend quickly enough and Ross has managed to lock this one up! Can Ludwig escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ross on a fantastic submission victory.
