The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hjelmslev looks to land a left hand but Kokov moved out of range nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hjelmslev has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hjelmslev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hjelmslev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kokov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kokov keeps the fight on the outside.
Hjelmslev defending well as Kokov loads up on a big left hand.
Hjelmslev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Kokov connects with a right that clearly hurt Hjelmslev. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Kokov proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Hjelmslev collapses and taps out under the pressure!
