Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Fraizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Retriever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Retriever has chosen Paranoid as his entrance music. Marc Fraizer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Milo Retriever's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marc Fraizer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Milo Retriever!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fraizer misses with a two punch combination.
Fraizer misses with a combination
and Retriever counters with a head kick. That will keep Fraizer thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Fraizer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Retriever tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fraizer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Retriever shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fraizer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Retriever.
Fraizer looks to score with a jab to the body but Retriever is just out of range.
Fraizer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Retriever manages to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fraizer. Retriever does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fraizer swings for the body but Retriever moves out of range.
Fraizer throws a right and a left that Retriever avoids nicely.
Retriever pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fraizer misses with a wild body shot.
Fraizer tries to bum rush Retriever with a series of wild strikes but Retriever uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Retriever takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Retriever gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fraizer to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fraizer trying to control the position from guard on top but Retriever is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fraizer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Retriever swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fraizer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Fraizer wants to pass the guard but Retriever is keeping the position.
Fraizer throws an elbow that misses. Retriever uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fraizer's guard. Nice move by Retriever!

Retriever stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Retriever takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fraizer lands a nice shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fraizer jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fraizer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Horrible takedown by Retriever or perhaps it was just good defense by Fraizer which made him look bad.
Retriever looks winded!
Retriever goes for a double leg but Fraizer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fraizer continues to drive forward.
Marc Fraizer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milo Retriever.
Fraizer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Retriever has him pressed against the cage.
Retriever told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Retriever tries for a takedown. No joy.
Fraizer stops a takedown attempt from Retriever.
Fraizer wants to break free but Retriever has control.
A frustrated look appears on Fraizer's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Fraizer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Retriever tries to pull guard but Fraizer won't allow it.
Fraizer is pushing Retriever up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Fraizer goes for a takedown in the clinch but Retriever prevents it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fraizer is trying to push Retriever away but Retriever has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Retriever jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fraizer walks away with a smile on his face. Retriever gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looks like Milo Retriever has been cut.
Fraizer looks to land a body kick but Retriever moved away.

Fraizer drops his shoulder and cracks Retriever with a huge uppercut! Retriever goes down! Can Fraizer finish him?


Retriever is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fraizer lands a couple of digs.
Retriever is still in real trouble! Can Fraizer finish him?
Retriever keeping full guard, as Fraizer tries to pass.
We've been hearing that Fraizer has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Fraizer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Fraizer loads up on a big left hand. Retriever felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Fraizer looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Retriever can't hide his disappointment, as Fraizer celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marc Fraizer!
During a confident post fight interview, Marc Fraizer thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
