Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Nassoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAndre Louis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Louis has chosen All I Do Is Win as his entrance music. Jerry Nassoon is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louis connects with a high kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Louis.
Louis displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Louis tries to clinch there but Nassoon circles away.
Nassoon misses with a takedown attempt
and Louis counters with a head kick. That will keep Nassoon thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Louis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nassoon to the ground. Louis is now in Nassoon's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Nassoon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Louis wants to stand but Nassoon is controlling his posture from full guard.

DeAndre Louis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Nassoon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Louis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Louis finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Nassoon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Louis's waist but Louis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nassoon off to one side.

Nassoon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nassoon wants it to stay on the feet.
Louis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A slapping body kick lands there for Louis.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Louis tries to clinch but Nassoon moves out of range.

Louis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nassoon defends it nicely.
Louis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nassoon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Louis somewhat.
Jerry Nassoon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DeAndre Louis.
Louis throws a sloppy head kick and Nassoon moves out of range easily.

Nassoon closes the distance and clinches.
Nassoon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Louis avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Louis ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Louis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Louis controls Nassoon momentarily but Nassoon frees himself.
Louis is looking to sweep but instead, Nassoon has passed into half guard.

Louis is pressing down on Nassoon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Nassoon has gone for a leg lock! Louis slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nassoon's guard.
Louis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Nassoon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Louis wants to control from the top but Nassoon keeps moving.

Nassoon shoots for a double leg takedown but Louis sprawls well. He's pushed Nassoon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nassoon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nassoon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Louis has escaped the position, nice work there.

Nassoon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Louis is looking to escape.
Louis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Nassoon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Louis turns into him and now he's in Nassoon's guard.
Louis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nassoon's guard.
Louis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nassoon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Nassoon manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Louis keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Louis is trying to stand up here but Nassoon is controlling him well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Louis can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nassoon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Nassoon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Louis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Nassoon tries a body shot but Louis blocks it.
Louis is trying to pull guard but Nassoon turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Louis comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Nassoon gets a takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Still in half guard, Nassoon seems content to control.
Jerry Nassoon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Nassoon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Louis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Louis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nassoon is working away from the top position though.
Nassoon has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Louis tries to hold on but Nassoon pushes him away.

Louis reaches up to try and control the position but Nassoon seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Louis rolls and tries to escape and now Nassoon has his back!
