Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blind Phaedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Shady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Blind Phaedo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shady shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Shady was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Shady takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Shady's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Let's hope that Shady has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Red Shady just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Shady tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Phaedo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Phaedo has taken the fight to the clinch.

Phaedo has hold of one of Shady's legs. Shady is fighting the takedown attempt but Phaedo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Shady pulls Phaedo in close to prevent any damage.

Shady uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Shady looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Shady rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Phaedo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Phaedo counters with a shoot takedown. Shady fights it but they end up in guard.
Shady throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Phaedo is fighting to break Shady's control of his arms but Shady is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that Blind Phaedo will probably get the nod.
