Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lando Lager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Matheu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Matheu's choice of entrance music: Entrance. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lager gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Matheu in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Matheu looking to pass the guard.
Lager has control of Matheu's left arm, preventing Matheu from doing any damage.
Lager might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lager is on top in guard.
Matheu throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Lager sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Matheu's guard.
Lager is looking to advance position but Matheu won't allow it.

Lager passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Matheu!

Lager with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Matheu really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Matheu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lager working for a submission but Matheu is keeping him at bay.
Lager is breathing heavily.
Lager looking for a guillotine from mount but Matheu is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Matheu tries to reverse the position but Lager maintains control.

Lager is working for a guillotine from mount but Matheu frees his head quite easily.
Matheu is wriggling around trying to escape.
Matheu has left one of his arms exposed and Lager doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Matheu screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
