The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hillis tries to work over Tappura's front leg with a kick but Tappura checks it.
Hillis misses with a body kick.
Tappura lands a jab to Hillis's midsection.
Hillis throws a hook but Tappura blocks it.
Tappura avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tappura tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tappura walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Taisto Tappura has been cut.
Hillis smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hillis throws a chopping leg kick but Tappura manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Tappura looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hillis throws a head kick but Tappura moves out of range.
Hillis thows a left - swing and a miss!

Hillis cracks Tappura with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tappura looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hillis finish him?

Tappura is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Hillis engages and cracks Tappura with a massive lead left hook - Tappura tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Hillis is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
