Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akaky Bashmachkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Lagk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Akaky Bashmachkin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Akaky Bashmachkin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bashmachkin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bashmachkin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lagk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lagk parries the strikes from Bashmachkin easily there. Bashmachkin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lagk to escape.
Lagk is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bashmachkin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bashmachkin looks to land a strike but Lagk avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Lagk is adopting a defensive guard.
Lagk working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bashmachkin.
Lagk is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bashmachkin has his hands clasped together but Lagk extends and breaks Bashmachkin's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Lagk.
