Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by eminem-lose yourself. Sean Hughes has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sean Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes moves out of range as Drake strikes.

Drake manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hughes on his heels. He'll look to pass Hughes's guard now, I'm sure.
Drake slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hughes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Hughes tries to buck Drake off but Drake is having none of it.
Hughes is letting Drake control him for a moment.
Drake in side control, throwing shots but Hughes defends.
Drake landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hughes is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Drake is controlling him well.
Drake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hughes on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Drake is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hughes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hughes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hughes on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Hughes parries the strikes from Drake easily there. Drake is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hughes to escape.
Hughes is trying to buck Drake off.
Drake working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Drake is looking to take a break and control but Hughes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hughes is letting Drake control him for a moment.

Drake has an Americana. Hughes didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Drake is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Drake hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
