Bailey comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Lose Yourself. The crowd seem to be enjoying Price's choice of entrance music: Rotten Apple [Remix] - Prodigy & Sean Price . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blaze Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Price!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey tries to land a front kick but Price steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bailey throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bailey throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Price stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bailey.
Blaze Bailey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bailey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bailey.

Bailey rushes Price and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Bailey.
Bailey lands a damaging elbow.


It looks like Sean Price has been cut.
Price misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Price tries to pull guard but Bailey forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Price is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bailey lands a good knee to the midsection. Price won't want to take too many of those.

Price is trying to push Bailey away but Bailey has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bailey takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Price tries to break free but Bailey pushes him back against the cage.
Bailey lands a damaging elbow.

Bailey keeps control of Price as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bailey crunches a lovely knee into Price's ribcage.
Bailey unloads a knee to the mid-section. Price lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Price looks winded!
Bailey lands an elbow inside.
Price lands on the inside with an uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Price has had enough of the clinch but Bailey keeps him there for the moment.
Bailey landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Bailey scores with a shot to the side of Price's head.


Price is rocked!
Price tries to break the clinch but Bailey is controlling the position.
Price is still on wobbly legs! Can Bailey finish him?
Bailey prevents Price from breaking the clinch.
Price seems to have recovered his senses.
Bailey stalls.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bailey.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bailey landing knees to the head.
Bailey gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Bailey jerks Price's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Price drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Bailey goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Bailey because Price was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Blaze Bailey!
After winning the bout, Blaze Bailey thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
