Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lars Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nishant Dere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dere has chosen MaddijaneMusic/Impossible as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dere chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gordon can pounce on him.
Dere looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gordon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gordon pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dere back to the cage. Gordon follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gordon tries to clinch but Dere is having none of it.

Dere looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gordon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Gordon moves in looking to clinch but Dere pushes him off.
No joy there for Gordon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gordon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dere really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gordon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gordon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dere gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dere's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
