The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jame shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jame won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.
Jones keeping full guard, as Jame tries to pass.
Jame trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.

Jame not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Edoja Jame has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Jame looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Jame saw that one coming.

Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Jame tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jame manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jame creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Jame wants to break free but Jones has control.
Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by Jame.

Jones tries to throw a body punch but Jame avoids it by throwing Jones back against the cage.
Jame wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Jones is trying to push Jame away but Jame has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Jame breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jame defends well and Jones ends up having to push Jame into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jame is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jones's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Jame throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Jame misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Jame trying to control but Jones is having none of it.

Jame with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jame takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jame wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jones throws a lazy right hand but Jame sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Jame tightens his grip and picks Jones up, before dumping him to the ground. Jones manages to land in guard.

Jame controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jame looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jame is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.
Jame has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle.
Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Jame has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Jame stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Jame closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Jones is trying to pull guard but Jame has him pressed against the cage.

Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Jame sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Jones fails to pull guard.

Jame had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily.

Jones throws a good cross that connects.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jame sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.

Jame clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jame lands with a short shot to the head.
Jones tries to pull guard but Jame won't allow it.

A close second round but Edoja Jame will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Jame gets control of Jones's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jame will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jame bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Jame passes into half guard.

Jame is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jones pushes Jame off looking to stand but Jame dives back in and keeps control.

Jame tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maci Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jame lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jones backs up against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jame is pawing at Jones, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Jones's nose. Jones is badly hurt! Jame pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Jones tries desperately to hold on but Jame is relentless in his assault! As Jones receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Jame away and this one is in the books!
