PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Breeze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Breeze!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breeze tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Coleman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Breeze looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coleman is fending him off so far but Breeze persists. Nope, Coleman circles away and we're back to standing.

Breeze feints and as Coleman raises his hands in defense, Breeze changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Coleman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Breeze controls the pace.
Breeze loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Breeze stands up over Coleman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Breeze sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coleman's guard.
Breeze throwing shots but Coleman is blocking nicely.

Breeze is working for a submission of some sort.
Breeze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Coleman wants to get back to his feet.

My spies in Imperium MMA Gym(4 Sprbt 4*+)(15 Coach)$850 inform me that Breeze has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
