Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Dezhnyov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Johnson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Dezhnyov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to clinch there but Dezhnyov circles away.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses.
Dezhnyov throws a right hand that misses
and Johnson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Dezhnyov tries to pull guard but Johnson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Dezhnyov is trying to break free.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dezhnyov misses with a hook. Johnson ducked under it nicely.
Johnson feints a jab promting Dezhnyov to slip. Johnson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dezhnyov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Johnson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
John Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dezhnyov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Dezhnyov to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dezhnyov looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range.
Johnson thows a body shot but no joy.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dezhnyov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dezhnyov feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Johnson's calf.
Dezhnyov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dezhnyov tries a head kick but it misses.
No joy there for Dezhnyov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dezhnyov's waist but Dezhnyov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.
Johnson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Dezhnyov stuffs the takedown.
Alexander Dezhnyov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Johnson.
Johnson tries to clinch there but Dezhnyov circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Johnson looks winded!
Johnson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A shot to the body from Dezhnyov misses
and Johnson counters with a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Dezhnyov.
Johnson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dezhnyov misses the shot to the body.
A head kick by Dezhnyov misses
and Johnson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dezhnyov thinking.
Dezhnyov lands a high kick!
Dezhnyov throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johnson wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dezhnyov throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Johnson fails with the takedown
and Dezhnyov counters with a crisp one two that drops Johnson! Dezhnyov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Johnson to his feet! Johnson is in big trouble!
Johnson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dezhnyov throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Johnson crashing down! Johnson tries to stagger back to his feet but Dezhnyov just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Johnson asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Dezhnyov!
