Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roman Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man. Lee has chosen Stroke It as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Freddy Lee was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov looks to land a left hand but Lee moved out of range nicely.
Lee throws a push kick but Kersikov slaps the foot to one side.
Lee moves out of range as Kersikov throws a body kick.
Kersikov swings for the body but Lee moves out of range.
Lee tries to land a front kick but Kersikov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lee swings away with a body shot that misses

and Kersikov counters with a takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kersikov in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Lee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kersikov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kersikov staying calm.
Kersikov throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Kersikov trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom.
Kersikov in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Kersikov is trying to ground and pound but Lee uses the momentary lack of control by Kersikov to regain half guard.
Lee is trying to maintain the position but Kersikov is very close to passing his half guard.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kersikov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kersikov content to control rather than advance.
Lee avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kersikov.

Lee is staying active underneath Kersikov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
