Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cmano Zungo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Judge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barney Judge has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cmano Zungo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zungo fails with a takedown attempt.

Judge gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Zungo stalls.
Zungo working aggressively here.
We've been hearing reports that Zungo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Judge manages to break the clinch.

Judge darts in and clinches Zungo up against the cage.
Zungo is trying to break the clinch but Judge is controlling him.
Zungo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Judge fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Judge has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Zungo tries to keep at a distance but Judge has taken the fight into the clinch.

No joy there for Judge, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zungo shoots in for a takedown but Judge shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cmano Zungo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Judge clinches with his opponent.
Judge is pressed up against the cage. Zungo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Judge down to the mat. Judge avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Judge keeps control of Zungo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Zungo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Judge sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Judge closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Zungo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Judge prevents it.
Zungo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Judge blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Judge breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Judge counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Zungo has a takedown stuffed.
Judge uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zungo has time to react.

Judge throws a nice looking combination but Zungo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zungo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Judge circles away.
Judge lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Judge is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Judge misses with an attempted mid kick.

Judge blocks a body shot from Zungo.
Zungo misses with a short punch on the inside.
Zungo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Judge is fighting off a takedown attempt but Zungo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Judge to the mat. Judge regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Zungo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Judge is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Judge has escaped and now he's on top!
Judge is in close to Zungo's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Zungo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Judge is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Zungo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zungo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Judge looks like he's trying to stand up.

Zungo is looking for submissions but instead, Judge has regained full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Zungo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Judge is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zungo, into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barney Judge dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Judge scores with a crisp jab that stopped Zungo in his tracks.
Judge misses with a low kick.
Judge has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Judge rushes Zungo and presses him up against the cage.

Judge breaks the clinch.
Judge throws a series of punches but Zungo avoids them all with ease.
A leg kick checked by Zungo.
Judge looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Judge works over Zungo's head and body with a nice combination.
Judge moves in looking to clinch but Zungo pushes him off.
Judge lands with an uppercut that bounces Zungo off the cage and back into range.
Barney Judge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Judge catches Zungo right on the button with a cross.
Judge misses with a few strikes there.

Judge gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Judge is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zungo is controlling him.

Zungo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zungo slips nicely into half guard.

Zungo is working for a submission of some sort.

Zungo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Zungo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Judge tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Zungo!
