Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shawn Fields!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fields misses with a head kick.
Fields looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Tucker throws a lazy right hand but Fields sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Shawn Fields seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fields showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tucker.
Tucker throws a shot to the body.
Tucker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fields avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fields stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tucker.
Tucker looks to score with a jab to the body but Fields is just out of range.
Fields keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tucker.
Tucker tries a low kick but Fields avoids it.
Tucker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fields sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tucker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fields tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fields tries a head kick but it misses.
Fields closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fields moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tucker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tucker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've been informed that Fields has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fields closes the distance looking to clinch
and Tucker counters with a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fields throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fields on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Tucker misses with the combination.
Fields moves away from the strike by Tucker.
Fields uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tucker.
Tucker takes a swing at Fields's ribcage but misses.
Tucker goes for a small jab and connects. Now Tucker goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Fields stumbles back but Tucker runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Fields to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Fields will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tom Tucker!
