The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight closes the distance and clinches.
Davis lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Knight backwards.

Knight breaks from the clinch.
Knight swats away the attempt to clinch by Davis.
Davis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Mike Davis has been cut.
Davis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Davis misses with a series of wild punches.
Knight throws a sloppy head kick and Davis moves out of range easily.
Davis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Davis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knight moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Davis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Davis throws a series of punches but Knight avoids them all with ease.
Knight is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Davis.
Davis wants to clinch up but Knight keeps it at a distance.
Davis slips a straight right by Knight.
Knight fails with an attempt to clinch.
Davis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knight is fending him off so far but Davis persists. Nope, Knight circles away and we're back to standing.
Davis closes the distance and clinches up with Knight, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes Knight against the cage but Knight circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Knight throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Davis stumbling backwards into the cage! Davis bounces back off the cage towards Knight, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Knight lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Knight celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
