Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leos Karanous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karanous checks a low kick from Chandler.
Chandler looks for a takedown but Karanous sprawls well.
Karanous misses with a body shot.
Chandler wants to clinch up but Karanous keeps it at a distance.

Chandler gets the takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Chandler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Karanous is just riding it out for now. Chandler eventually gives up the hold.

Karanous is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Chandler has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Chandler!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chandler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
