The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Navas misses.
Navas misses with a wild body shot.
Navas throws a body punch but Brownhill moves out of range.
A big right from Brownhill misses.
Navas stuffs the takedown.
Brownhill fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Navas checks it well.
Brownhill gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Michael Brownhill has been cut.
Navas throws a nice looking combination but Brownhill bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brownhill scores with a jab. Navas acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Navas throws a leg kick but Brownhill sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Navas misses with a series of wild punches.
Navas manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Brownhill on his heels. He'll look to pass Brownhill's guard now, I'm sure.
Brownhill wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Navas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Brownhill looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Michael Brownhill was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Navas misses with a left hand
so Brownhill counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Navas trying to keep a closed guard but Brownhill is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brownhill drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Brownhill seems to have locked his on tight now - Navas screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Brownhill, as he picks up the win!
