The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rei keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rei swats away the attempt to clinch by Wong.
Rei shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rei thows a body shot but no joy.
Wong takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Wong takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Rei blocks a low kick nicely.
Wong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rei was well out of range. Poor timing from Wong.
Djoser Rei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rei tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wong's elbow.
Wong misses with a punch to the body.
Rei presses Wong against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
I was talking to Wong's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wong misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rei lands with a short head shot on the inside.

It looks like Dongdong Wong has been cut.
Wong throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rei blocks it with crossed arms.
A nice left hand lands by Wong.
Wong throws a punch but it's blocked by Rei.

Rei escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rei checks a leg kick.
Rei digs a good hook to Wong's body.
Wong is breathing heavily.
Wong tries to clinch but Rei moves away
and Rei counters with an outside leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Rei.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rei is looking to slow Wong down with leg kicks.
Rei looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rei dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wong takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rei scores with a nice body kick.
Rei cracks Wong with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rei comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rei has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Rei ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wong tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rei throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Rei lands a left and a right that send Wong crashing to the mat, dazed. Rei thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Wong is rocked!
Rei weaves into range and cracks Wong right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Wong goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Rei is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
