Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kotaro Fuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miquel Costas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 56 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Kotaro Fuma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Miquel Costas!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Costas tries to clinch up

and Fuma counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Fuma.
Costas tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Fuma's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fuma throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Costas was covering up waiting for the punch and Fuma finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Costas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Costas has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fuma should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Costas has tightened it up now! Fuma should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
