The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vjadenek shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Trifu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Trifu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Vjadenek looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trifu is fending him off so far but Vjadenek persists. Nope, Trifu circles away and we're back to standing.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terzo Vjadenek. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vjadenek drops his hands for a split second and Trifu immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Vjadenek face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Trifu follows up with a right hand that knocks Vjadenek into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
