The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White slips a jab and a cross from De La Cruz.
De La Cruz tries to clinch but White is having none of it.
De La Cruz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
White gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
De La Cruz tries to stand but White is controlling from the bottom.
White is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! De La Cruz has his hands clasped together but White extends and breaks De La Cruz's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by White.
