The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kuznetsov Smirknov.
Kuznetsov Smirknov wants to clinch but Calevra slips to the side
and Calevra counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kuznetsov Smirknov is lucky that one didn't land flush.
A slapping leg kick lands for Calevra.
Calevra looks to land a combination but Kuznetsov Smirknov avoids it well.
Kuznetsov Smirknov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Calevra counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Calevra.
Calevra definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kuznetsov Smirknov tries to score a body lock takedown but Calevra shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Slevin Calevra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yves Vladimir Kuznetsov Smirknov.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Calevra feints a jab and as Kuznetsov Smirknov dips his head, Calevra unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Kuznetsov Smirknov right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Kuznetsov Smirknov falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Calevra smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
