Frank King struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckford with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Beckford ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beckford swats him away and circles back towards the center.
King moves in looking to clinch but Beckford pushes him off.

King doesn't manage to clinch there - Beckford circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Beckford looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King.
We've been informed that King has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Beckford fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
