PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John MacTavish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Tyzzkling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyzzkling has chosen Dagger (mustasch) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from MacTavish.
MacTavish throws a nice looking combination but Tyzzkling bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tyzzkling dives in and grabs MacTavish's left leg, looking for a takedown. MacTavish pushes down on Tyzzkling's head and hops out.

I was talking to MacTavish's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

MacTavish finds Tyzzkling's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Tyzzkling flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. MacTavish lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Tyzzkling will be OK.
