Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Inthachack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mat Tigas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Inthachack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mat Tigas!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inthachack wants to clinch.
Inthachack shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tigas as he avoids it easily.

Tigas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Inthachack stops Tigas from passing to mount.
Inthachack tries to improve position but can't.
Inthachack wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Inthachack manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Inthachack is thwarting Tigas's attempts to control the position.
Inthachack working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Tigas's thigh. Tigas counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Tigas wants to stand but Inthachack is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Inthachack scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Inthachack wants to get up but he can't break Tigas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Tigas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Inthachack slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Tigas seems keen to control Inthachack's posture.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tigas is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Inthachack postures up.
Tigas is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Inthachack postures up in Tigas's guard and throws a big left but Tigas blocks it.
Tigas is trying to keep Inthachack in close.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tigas has eaten all the pies!
Tigas seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Inthachack tries to stand but Tigas is controlling from the bottom.
Tigas tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Inthachack trying to move into half guard but instead Tigas has managed to sweep!
Tigas wants to control from the top but Inthachack keeps moving.
Inthachack is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Inthachack will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Tigas moves into the clinch.
Come on Tigas - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Tigas successfully pulls guard.
Inthachack looking to pass the guard.
Inthachack slips nicely into half guard.
Inthachack is breathing heavily.
Inthachack wants to control but Tigas is keeping him busy.

Tigas looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Inthachack not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Tigas is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Inthachack pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mat Tigas dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Tigas shoots and misses

and Inthachack counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Inthachack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tigas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tigas is working an open guard so Inthachack takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ryan Inthachack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tigas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tigas takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Tigas tries to close the distance and clinch but Inthachack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tigas has his takedown stuffed
and Inthachack counters with a nice leg kick.
Inthachack avoids the head kick by Tigas.

and Tigas counters by moving into the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tigas jumps guard and drags Inthachack to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Inthachack looking to sit in guard and control but Tigas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Inthachack tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tigas is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Inthachack uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Inthachack pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Tigas drives through and clinches with Inthachack against the cage.
Inthachack prevents a takedown attempt there.
Ryan Inthachack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mat Tigas.
Tigas fails to pull guard.
Knees in the clinch landing for Inthachack.
Nice body punch from Tigas.

Inthachack connects with a knee to the head.
Tigas lands an elbow inside.
Inthachack wants to break free but Tigas has control.

Tigas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tigas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Tigas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Inthachack wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Inthachack tries to buck Tigas off but Tigas is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inthachack tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Tigas keeps control of the position as Inthachack tries to break free.
Tigas biding his time, looking for the opening.
Tigas is hanging on to Inthachack's back as he tries to escape.

Tigas controlling well, preventing Inthachack from escaping the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tigas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Inthachack keeps working.

Inthachack tries to roll over but Tigas keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mat Tigas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tigas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
