Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Gauge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshiro Kasumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kasumi has chosen Ai Wo Torimodose aka Song of Manliness as his entrance music. Kenshiro Kasumi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyson Gauge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenshiro Kasumi!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Gauge.
Gauge dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kasumi. That did some damage!
We've been told by Gauge's head coaches at Rutgers Athletic Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kasumi, as that shot connected.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kasumi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kasumi throws a looping overhand right but Gauge ducks down to avoid it.
Kasumi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gauge is fending him off so far but Kasumi persists. Nope, Gauge circles away and we're back to standing.
Gauge lands with a good body shot.
An inside leg kick from Gauge misses.
Kasumi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kasumi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gauge takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Kenshiro Kasumi has been cut.
Kasumi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gauge was well out of range. Poor timing from Kasumi.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gauge ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kasumi avoids the body shot from Gauge.
Gauge blocks a low kick nicely.
Kasumi misses with a hook.
Kasumi thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gauge if he has to take too many more of those.
Gauge throws a hook but Kasumi blocks it.
Kasumi cracks Gauge with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gauge throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kasumi.
Gauge takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kasumi. Gauge does a little dance to reset his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kasumi throws a head kick that misses
and Gauge counters with a good low kick that Kasumi was not able to check.
Gauge moves out of range of the body kick from Kasumi.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gauge ducks right into an uppercut from Kasumi.
Nice defenses there by Gauge.
Kasumi misses with a double jab.
Jab, jab by Gauge - just one landing.
Kasumi is looking to chop away at Gauge's legs.
Kenshiro Kasumi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kasumi slips a jab from Gauge.
Kasumi wants to stay close but Gauge steps back to make room for something. Kasumi seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Gauge and Kasumi drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
