Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Herst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Madison Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herst's entrance music is Mr Crowley. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Grant's choice of entrance music: donald wheres your troosers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herst throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Grant was covering up waiting for the punch and Herst finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Grant utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Herst thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Herst missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Herst stands up over Grant, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Herst throwing strikes from guard but Grant blocks nicely.
Grant is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Herst stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grant swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Herst drops back, looking for a kneebar! Grant looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Grant looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Grant!
Herst on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Herst tries to get out of the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Herst is looking to regain half guard here but Grant keeps moving and retains side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grant seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Herst does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grant connects with a nice short shot to Herst's temple.
Herst wants to control but Grant is keeping busy.
Herst is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Grant pulls his head out easily.

Grant in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Herst tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Grant!
