And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronson shoots and misses
and Valadez counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Valadez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ronson on the ground.
Valadez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ronson's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ronson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Valadez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ronson is trying to keep Valadez in close.
Valadez connects with a couple of short punches.
Valadez cracks Ronson with a solid left hand.
Ronson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ronson has momentary wrist control but Valadez slips an elbow through the middle.
Valadez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ronson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Valadez has managed to get both his arms back between Ronson's legs - danger averted.
Valadez distracts Ronson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Valadez lands a couple of elbows.
Valadez postures up and lands a big shot to Ronson's brow.
Valadez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ronson's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Valadez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Valadez postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Valadez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Ronson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Valadez rolls with it to try and escape but Ronson cranks on the arm and Valadez is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
