Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Hurley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Velasquez!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurley shoots in and bounces Velasquez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Velasquez can't keep his opponent in guard - Hurley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Velasquez tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Hurley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hurley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Velasquez's head.
Velasquez is defending against the submission attempts here by Hurley.
Hurley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Velasquez trying to control but Hurley postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hurley is trying to control the action in half guard but Velasquez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hurley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hurley is trying to control. Velasquez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Velasquez looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hurley moves nicely into side control.
Velasquez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hurley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hurley tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Velasquez tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hurley is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Hurley extends the arm and Velasquez is forced to tap!
