Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toby Fluke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fridolf Gothberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fluke comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Fridolf Gothberg enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fluke takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Fluke fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gothberg, pushing him back against the cage.

Gothberg breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fluke with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gothberg to score with a decent uppercut.

We've been told by Fluke's head coaches at Cozad The Island that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fluke gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gothberg.

Fluke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gothberg is looking to improve his position.
Fluke missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Fluke misses with a head shot. Gothberg uses the momentum to regain guard.
Fluke tries to free his leg and advance position but Gothberg is retaining full guard.
Fluke won't allow Gothberg to get back to his feet.

Fluke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fluke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fluke throws an elbow that misses. Gothberg uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fluke's guard. Nice move by Gothberg!
Gothberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fluke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gothberg is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Fluke is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gothberg is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gothberg is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gothberg lands a body shot.
Fluke walks into a left hand.
Fluke shoots in looking for a takedown. Gothberg tries to sprawl out of it but Fluke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gothberg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fluke closes the distance and clinches up with Gothberg, looking for a takedown. Fluke pushes Gothberg against the cage but Gothberg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fridolf Gothberg seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Nice shot lands for Gothberg.
Toby Fluke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Good exchange - Gothberg coming out on top.
Gothberg leaves Fluke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Toby Fluke. That's going to take a lot out of him.

BOOM! Gothberg lands a beautiful left hook that drops Fluke. Fluke tries to recover but Gothberg is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Fluke lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
