Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Pepper!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voros tries to clinch up but Pepper circles away and keeps his distance.
A right-left combo lands from Pepper.
Voros closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pepper circles away.
Pepper walks forward, straight into a front kick from Voros.
Voros looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pepper is fending him off so far but Voros persists. Nope, Pepper circles away and we're back to standing.
Voros closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Voros lands in his opponent's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pepper can do anything to dispel that myth.
Voros working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pepper's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pepper looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Voros puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Voros wants to take a breather but Pepper is having none of it.

Voros lands with a nice combination. Pepper backs away looking to recover.
Voros misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Voros shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pepper's guard.

Pepper might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Voros kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Pepper lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Voros!

Voros throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pepper has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Voros regains guard immediately.
Voros manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pepper manages to get himself to full guard.

Voros wants to get up but he can't break Pepper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Voros is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Voros throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pepper's waist but Pepper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Voros off to one side.

Voros tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pepper paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Voros drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Voros is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Voros is putting a hurting on Pepper here, landing some big shots from side control.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well Voros has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
